Who can apply?
Medical Attendant Visa is issued to family members/attendants of patients who are granted Medical Visa to undergo treatment in India.
Required Documents
PLEASE NOTE: WHILE FILLING THE ONLINE FORM IT IS COMPULSORY TO FILL YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, PORT OF ARRIVAL AND PORT OF EXIT! PLEASE NOTE: APPLICANTS HAVING NON HK PASSPORT/NOT BORN IN HK HAVE TO FILL UP (Personal Particular Form (PP) to be filled online and it cannot be handwritten.) https://www.blsindia-hongkong.com/docs/New%20Personal%20Particulars%20Form.doc.
FOR POINT NO 13, PLEASE MENTION THE ADDRESS IN YOUR HOME COUNTRY EG FOR UK PASSPORT PLEASE MENTION YOUR OLD/EXISTING ADDRESS IN UK.
- Addition form to be filed by all applicants
- All visa applicant must fill the undertaking letter (click here to download the undertaking letter)
- One printed copy of the Online Visa Application Form with a recent photograph (2" x 2" - White background and as per Photo Specifications and duly signed on both pages.
- Original Passport with at least two blank pages and minimum 6 months validity.
- Copy of profile page of Passport. If applicant is holding dual nationality copy of profile page of both Passports.
- Copy of Hong Kong/Macau ID. Non Hong Kong/Macau Passport holders holding Hong Kong/Macau non-permanent ID cards need to provide a copy of their recent Hong Kong/Macau Visa/Visa extension page.
- Copy of Medical Visa of the patient who is required to be accompanied by the applicant.
- Letter from Medical authorities in Hong Kong specifying the requirement of medical attendant.
- Letter from Indian Hospital authorities recommending the need of Medical Attendant for the patient.

Processing time : For Non HK Passport holders Min 7-10 working days . For HK Passport holder 5-6 working days
